A Rare Discovery: Student Film from 1972
During the first exhibition of “The Civilization of Llhuros” at the A.D. White Museum of Art at Cornell in 1972, Kells Elmquist, a Cornell University film student along with a group of friends, shot and edited this 16mm film as class project. 50 years later, In 2022, Mr. Elmquist found the film in his basement. It was then digitally converted to a video format. It is exciting to now present this rare discovery—to date the only known existing film or video of the premiere exhibition of “Llhuros”.
