The Early Archaic Period of Llhuros is characterized by a rugged imagery, essentially nonrepresentational. Objects of the Archaic Period, which seem to possess a disquieting or menacing air, are invariably Pilkug, while the more serene objects are most often the products of the tranquil people of Vanibo. While there is a noticeable emphasis on sexuality throughout the entire history of Llhuros, it is the manner and degree of this special interest which distinguishes the Late Archaic Period from the Middle Period which was renowned for a charged libidinousness exceeding even Paphian sensuality. Finally, concerning The Decline of Llhuros, the fall of the Llhuroscians has been ascribed to the infallibility of the menstrual chart, as well as their hedonistic indulgence of effete refinements, and obsessive pursuit of sensory excitation.
Votive Figure
This unusually refined votive from the Early Archaic period embodies a forward-looking blend of Llhuroscian craftsmanship and artistry.

This object was displayed in Norman Daly's residence until 2024. As of 2025, there is no evidence it was ever exhibited as part of Llhuros, although we were able to roughly match it with a 1972 catalog entry for a missing COL.11.
This object is a unique element of the "Civilization of Llhuros" collection given to the Cornell University Anthropology Collaboratory in 2025.
